Patil Somasekhar Reddy Memorial Trust
PSRM Trust has been established in fond remembrance of our father late Sri Somasekhar Reddy Patil - a person who had phenomenal influence on our lives, morals and thoughts – with a goal to promote quality education among underprivileged and especially in rural areas.
PSRM Trust works with the mission of providing the best educational opportunities to underprivileged students from primary level to post graduate level. We strongly believe education has the spiraling effect to bring out a family from poverty to empowerment and development.
We also focus on the needs of people with visual disability and assist schools for visually impaired with infrastructure, organize free eye check-up drives in the rural areas to prevent loss of sight due to lack of medical care.
Providing the best Educational Opportunities for underprivileged & assisting Schools for visually impaired
We are committed to assist hard-working, motivated, but economically disadvantaged students with necessary financial support to complete their higher education. We strongly believe this small push can make a big impact in their lives.
We support local public schools in improving their infrastructure by having seating desks, playground facilities etc. and our local high school in recruiting and paying for qualified part-time teachers to improve teacher to pupil ratio.
Not many students from rural areas have privilege to take coaching for medical and engineering entrance exams and other competitive exams. Hence, we organize and support them with free coaching classes, which has been very successful.
“Sarvendriyanam nayanam pradhanam” - Conduct free eye camps and arrange for free cataract surgeries for under-privileged. Provide infrastructure support and computers to school for visually impaired at Hindupur.
Thankful to everyone who shared a word about our work.
